Terms and Conditions

Effective Date: January 2025

Welcome to Operation Dumpster. By using our dumpster rental services or placing an order through our website, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before booking a rental.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By placing an order, requesting a quote, or using any services provided by Operation Dumpster, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

2. Services Description

Operation Dumpster provides roll-off dumpster rental services for residential, commercial, and construction projects throughout Flagler County and Volusia County, Florida. Our services include delivery, rental period, pickup, and disposal of approved materials.

3. Rental Agreement and Booking

When you place an order, you enter into a rental agreement with Operation Dumpster. The rental period begins on the delivery date and ends on the scheduled pickup date. You are responsible for ensuring the placement location is accessible and suitable for dumpster delivery.

You must be at least 18 years old to enter into a rental agreement with us.

4. Pricing and Payment

All prices quoted include delivery, the specified rental period, pickup, and disposal of materials within the included weight allowance. Payment is due at the time of booking unless other arrangements are made.

Additional charges may apply for:

  • Weight overages beyond the included tonnage
  • Extended rental periods beyond the original agreement
  • Prohibited items found in the dumpster
  • Dry runs due to blocked access or unavailable placement location
  • Relocation of the dumpster after initial placement

5. Delivery and Pickup

We will deliver your dumpster to the address provided during booking. You are responsible for ensuring clear access to the placement location. The area must be free of overhead obstructions (wires, branches) and have adequate space for our truck to maneuver.

Pickup will occur on the scheduled date or within a reasonable timeframe after you notify us that the dumpster is ready. Please do not overfill the dumpster above the fill line.

6. Permitted and Prohibited Materials

Permitted materials include general household junk, furniture, appliances (without freon), mattresses, carpeting, drywall, roofing shingles, concrete, brick, wood, lumber, yard waste, cardboard, and general construction debris.

Prohibited materials: Hazardous waste, paint, solvents, batteries, tires, freon-containing appliances, medical waste, asbestos, chemicals, propane tanks, motor oil, certain electronics, and food waste. Disposal of prohibited items may result in additional fees and removal charges.

If you are unsure whether an item is permitted, please call us at (386) 302-3521 before loading.

7. Weight Limits and Overage Fees

Each dumpster rental includes a specified weight allowance (tonnage). If the contents exceed this allowance, overage fees will apply based on the additional weight. We will notify you of any overage charges after the dumpster is weighed at the disposal facility.

8. Customer Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

  • Obtaining any necessary permits for dumpster placement on public property
  • Ensuring the dumpster is used only for approved materials
  • Preventing overfilling above the fill line
  • Protecting the placement surface from potential damage
  • Keeping the area around the dumpster clear for pickup

9. Property Damage

Operation Dumpster is not responsible for damage to driveways, pavement, landscaping, or other property caused by the weight of the dumpster or delivery equipment. We recommend placing plywood or boards under the dumpster if you have concerns about surface damage.

10. Cancellation Policy

You may cancel your rental before delivery for a full refund. Cancellations made after the dumpster has been dispatched for delivery may be subject to a delivery fee. To cancel, please call us at (386) 302-3521 as soon as possible.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Operation Dumpster shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of our services. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the rental in question.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Operation Dumpster, its owners, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of our services, violation of these terms, or disposal of prohibited materials.
